I haven’t been spending any time lately watching television. But today something unusual happened!
Today i saw this movie, “The house of Gucci”
What i must say is human have forgotten that their liveliness is a legacy in itself.
In the movie they spoke about turning a family name into legacy or i should say create a legacy.
What did the movie teach me ? Was it something that i was always aware about ?
It taught me that we can put an end to our suffering just by realizing that our suffering is not worth suffering for! Great words by Thich. Nhat Hanh from his book “The heart of the Buddha’s teaching”
Gucci’s had everything, everything that they ever wanted. But what did they do in return? They were the causes of their own suffering. I am aware of the causes of my life. And I believe the one reading this is also.
We all need to be aware and be mindful. We must cherish what we have.
How many people kill themselves because of rage and despair?
The Gucci’s did so. They did not see the vast happiness that is available.
What did they see you may ask?
They saw anxiety and suffering there, in their lives.
What could have happened if they aka Gucci’s valued their lives?
They could have created a legacy from their liveliness and survival. Their fore children could have run the name in the industry. The family together should have faced the difficulties and grow new happiness.
